Terms of Service

Plain-language summary: Use Spluur lawfully, pay what you owe, don't abuse our infrastructure, and we'll keep your apps running. Breaches may lead to suspension.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using any Spluur service you agree to these Terms. If you are using Spluur on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time — continued use after notice of changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of service

Spluur is a developer platform for deploying web applications, attaching databases and caches, managing custom domains, and monitoring infrastructure from a single dashboard. We provision compute via Hetzner, databases via Neon, Redis via Upstash, and transactional email via Resend. By using Spluur you also agree to comply with those providers' acceptable use policies.

3. Account and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Notify us immediately at security@spluur.com if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not share accounts or resell access.

4. Fees and payment

Free plan users may use Spluur within stated resource limits at no charge. Pro plan users are billed monthly in their local currency (NGN, GHS, KES, ZAR, or USD) via Paystack. All fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy. Unpaid invoices may result in suspension after a 7-day grace period.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Spluur to host content or run workloads that violate applicable law, infringe intellectual property, transmit malware, conduct cyberattacks, send bulk unsolicited email, mine cryptocurrency, or violate our Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of all code, data, and content you deploy on Spluur. You grant Spluur a limited licence to host, store, and transmit your content solely to provide the services. You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with applicable laws.

7. Uptime and SLA

We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime on Pro plans. Downtime caused by scheduled maintenance, force majeure, or third-party provider outages is excluded. Free plan accounts receive no uptime guarantee.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of these Terms, non-payment, or activities that endanger our platform. You may cancel at any time from the dashboard; resources will be deprovisioned after a 7-day grace period.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPLUUR IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
